So my kids have been obsessed lately with making slime. They find all these tutorials on youtube and start pulling things out of the pantry and make all kinds of crazy concoctions. Some work out and turn into slime…some just create big messes.
Last night the girls talked Daddy into making a run to CVS to pick up more Elmer’s Glue and Shaving Cream. They wanted to make “Fluffy Slime”.
So far we’ve made glittery slime that smelled like peppermint, regular slime, and fluffy slime. Not going to lie…I’m kind of getting into it. It’s so fun to squish around. Ha!
Here’s the tutorial for Fluffy Slime if you’d like to check it out.
We used 3 pumps of foaming hand soap (Bath & Body Works) instead of contact solution.
Basically we just combined one bottle Elmer’s glue, a whole bunch of shaving cream, 3 pumps of foaming hand soap, a drop of food coloring and several tsp of the borax/water mixture.
